Trails for All

Aldridge Gardens’ Lake Trail was 90% accessible as defined by the US Forest Service Trail Accessibility Guidelines. To be 100% accessible, a new section was installed that bypassed a steep grade. The Trail is an instant success. Completed and opened for use October 16, visitors to the Gardens immediately started using the new section.

Aldridge Gardens’ goal of a 100% accessible facility has now been achieved thanks to the Holle Family Foundation Grant. Aldridge’s overarching goal was to enable the same level of experience and enjoyment for every visitor, regardless of physical ability or impairment.
