Holle Family Foundation Responds to Call for Emergency Food Pantry Assistance

The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama is actively monitoring developments related to COVID-19. We are taking proactive measures to protect the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers, and clients as we continue to serve our community. All associated with the Food Bank’s activity are encouraged to follow the guidelines set by the CDC and Alabama Department of Public Health. We are taking necessary precautions to help make sure that our food remains safe, our staff remains healthy, and that our distributions can continue.

The Food Bank plans to provide uninterrupted service, supplying food to its agency partners. We are, however, suspending Corner Market stops until further notice. Additionally, CFB is making adjustments to and increasing its direct-service programs to meet the changing needs and new challenges facing our community.
