Feeding a Crowd

Prior to obtaining the new equipment there were many problems in the Camp McDowell kitchen. The range would not turn to low settings and the ovens beneath did not work, and the older ovens were cooking inconsistently and burning food. Now, the staff is able to use all of the ovens and they have the ability to let the bread rise in the warmer. They are able to have more food cooked and ready to serve in less time. We serve over 20,000 guests in a year, and providing hot and delicious food is an important way to keep them coming back! (Quote from Camp McDowell’s final report)
