DAV Chapter 4 Building Repairs

Cawaco RC&D received a grant from the Holle Family Foundation to bring the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 4 building up to code. DAV Chapter 4 connects veterans to the health, disability and financial benefits they’ve earned through service. They also house a food pantry that serves over 100 area residents.

The roof was leaking and creating internal damage. Genius Roof installed a new roof that should last 20 years. Electrical upgrades were performed by Colston Electric bringing the electrical system up to code. LED lights were installed which should save the DAV costs in electricity. Colston Electric also donated materials and labor to replace damaged ceiling tiles from the roof damage.
