Breaking the Cycle-Walker County

Research shows that higher education levels allow individuals to better provide for their families, make better health and safety decisions, practice better nutrition and personal care habits, and contribute back to the welfare of the community as a whole.

From the Walker College Foundation report:

Holle Family Foundation Funds were used to cover Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 class tuition for 17 scholarship recipients. Part of those funds were used to cover summer scholarships for nursing students. Additional funds were used to cover fall scholarships for several students who needed one more semester of classes. The funds provided by the Holle Family Foundation made it possible to add two more full tuition scholarships to our 2021-22 scholars group…two more students who will reach their dreams due to the generosity of the Holle Family Foundation.
